The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR)-Perryville-Santa Cruz stands as a modern, medium-security state prison facility among the eight state-operated penitentiaries within the Perryville complex exclusively accommodating female offenders. The Perryville complex maintains a maximum population capacity of 4,401 inmates. Within this complex, there are four open units: Santa Cruz, Lumley, San Carlos, and Santa Rosa/Piestewa. These units cater to inmates across a spectrum of custody levels, ranging from minimum to close custody offenders.

Dedicated to providing comprehensive support and rehabilitation services, the Perryville complex offers various educational programs aimed at improving literacy levels and facilitating the attainment of high school diplomas or GEDs. Substance abuse programs are available to assist inmates in addressing addiction issues, while mental health programs cater to their psychological needs.

Transition programs are integral to the facility's mission, preparing inmates for successful reintegration into society upon release. These programs encompass job training, life skills development, and assistance with securing employment and housing.
