The Giles W. Dalby Correctional Institution is a privately operated prison located in Post, Garza County, Texas, operated by the Management and Training Corporation under contract with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The facility is owned by the county. It opened in 1999, houses federal "deportable alien" detainees, and has a working capacity of 1745. Inmates are housed in one or two-person cells.

Health Services: Health Services at CI Dalby offers routine medical, dental and mental health services to all inmates. This includes diagnostic physical and medical exams and dental evaluations. Inmates must submit a sick call form in order to receive routine care. Emergency care is available 24 hours a day.

Psychology Services: Inmates at CI Dalby have access to a Psychology Services department where they can participate in various treatment groups including Choice and Change, Victim Impact, anger management, Thinking for Good, and others. Specialized group therapy and counseling is also offered.

Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP): CI Dalby does not house a Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP). However the Non-Residential Drug Abuse Program (NR-DAP), Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) are available. Foundations for a drug-free world and additional substance abuse programs are available.

Education Services: CI Dalby provides GED, English-as-a-second-Language (ESL) Programs, Adult Basic Education (ABE) and computer skills training. Entrepreneurship and small business, building trades, and parenting programs are also available. High school diplomas and post-secondary programs are available through paid correspondence programs.

Advanced Occupational Education: CI Dalby does not offer any vocational training programs.

Vocational Training: CI Dalby offers vocational training in AutoCAD.

Apprenticeship: CI Dalby does not offer any apprenticeship programs.

Library Services: CI Dalby offers both leisure and law library to inmates. In the leisure library, inmates can check out fiction and nonfiction books, newspapers, and magazines. In the law library, inmates can conduct legal research.

Commissary: Inmates at CI Dalby have access to a commissary where they can shop once a week on their designated shopping day. A wide variety of items can be purchased, such as food, snacks, drinks, clothing, and limited electronics. A monthly spending limit of $360.00 is imposed.

Recreational Services: The Recreation Department at CI Dalby consists of both indoor and outdoor activities. Indoor leisure activities include hobby crafts, leather crafting, and other art and craft projects. Outdoor activities include a variety of individual exercise and group sporting activities.
