The Idaho State Correctional Center (ISCC) is a men's prison located south of Boise with a capacity of 2,128 beds. It accommodates residents across minimum-security, medium-security, and close-custody levels. Situated within proximity, less than half a mile away, is the Idaho State Correctional Institution (ISCI). Originally operated by the firm CCA, now known as CoreCivic, ISCC transitioned to state management in July 2014.
At Idaho State CC, inmates have opportunities to pursue educational advancement, including earning a GED and adult basic education. Additionally, vocational courses are available to inmates, offering them the chance to acquire new skills during their incarceration.
ISCC maintains a database of current inmates and their locations within the system. To locate an inmate, begin by using the DOC locator tool, which requires entering the first three letters of the inmate's first and last name, allowing for variations in spelling.
If unable to locate the desired information through free resources, users may opt to use the Arrest Record Search, which requires payment. While this option incurs a small fee, it provides access to the most up-to-date data available.
