The Pine Prairie ICE Processing Center - GEO is a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility located at 1133 Hampton Dupre Rd in Pine Prairie, LA in Evangeline County. This Medium security prison is operated by Homeland Security to hold immigration detainees who are awaiting trial or have already been convicted and sentenced for a crime.

ICE recommends you use the A-Number search. If you know the detainee's A-Number, it must be exactly nine digits long. If the A-Number has fewer than nine digits, please add zeros at the beginning. The Pine Prairie ICE Processing Center, accredited by the American Correctional Association (ACA) and the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC), has been providing correctional services since 2015 under contracts with both the Louisiana Department of Corrections and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The facility offers a wide range of services including health care, food provision, recreational activities, substance abuse and anger management programs, as well as visitation services. For inquiries about a detainee housed at the facility, individuals can contact (318) 335-7500 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., providing the necessary biographical information. However, detainees are unable to receive incoming calls; urgent messages can be left by calling (337) 599-2198 and providing the detainee’s full name, alien registration number, along with the caller's name and contact number.

Minors who are visiting the facility must be accompanied by an adult guardian (18 years or older). Minors must not be left unaccompanied in the waiting room, visiting room or any other area.

Attorneys and/or paralegals may visit detainees seven days a week from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., including holidays.
A list of pro bono (free) legal organizations will be posted in all detainee housing units and other appropriate areas. This list shall be updated quarterly. If a detainee wishes to see a representative or paralegal from that organization, it is the detainee’s responsibility to contact them for an appointment.
Consular officials may meet with their detained nationals at any time. It is requested that prior arrangements be made with the ICE Supervisory Deportation Officer to the extent possible, and that consular officials bring appropriate credentials when they come to the facility. Clergy may visit detainees at any time but must make prior arrangements with the Chaplain’s Office.
All individuals requesting admittance to the facility or the visitation area are subject to a pat-down search of their person, an inspection of their belongings, and a metal scan search. Individuals refusing to cooperate with a reasonable search will not be admitted. No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted. No electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, radios, etc.) are permitted in the secure areas of this facility.
