Dealing with Love and Support in Prison

When you were absent from your significant other did you feel obligated to love them because you were scared you'd have no one to suppprt you did you realize or know that you loved them without feeling obligated.

Fear is a big part of how every inmate deals with their time. Fear of losing support is real and it makes many inmates anxious as it is often tied to finanacial support. The anxiety leads to paranoia and before you know it, there are accusations and fights on the phone that will make both of you miserable. Since communication is limited, it's hard to keep the intimacy and feelings going strong without significant effort.

The isolation that the inmate experiences feels like you have actually died and you are watching what you knoew of your life go on without you. The everyday things that people on the outside take for granted. It is during these moments where you reflect on what is really important to you. More about who should I be "obligated" to, or do I want to start over alone and find someone new?  Sometimes separation makes the heart grow fonder. And other times it makes you realize it is not working out. You have to use your instincts to make up you mind
