The Discount Phone Service is not a replacement for the phone service at the jail or prison. Each facility as only one carrier. That carrier can set their rates to whatever they can get away with. We have discovered over the many years of helping the families of inmates that a "different phone number altogether" may make the calls from your inmate cheaper.

We provide you the best number for your inmate's location. That number is given to the inmate and when they call, it forwards to your current number - nothing changes on your end, this is all done through the phone system. You must register that new number with the carrier on record. There will still be a per call cost, but your dollar will stretch to have many more calls for less money.

For instance, in the federal system, a local call is 6 cents per minute. Any other number but local, the calls are 21 cents per minute. In many county jails, the calls range from $25 (for 15 minutes) down to 50 cents for the same call (to a different number). Let us give you an HONEST ESTIMATE. If you are reading this, we can probably help save you a lot of money. Especially for you power users who talk a few times a day. The savings are real!
