So if I do the InmateAid Discount Telephone and pay the quarterly or monthly fee then do I still have to pay more money to whatever phone company to have funds on the account for my husband to call... so am I paying for the line plus having to pay for minutes thru whatever company as well?

Yes. You have to set up the number we give you with whomever the service is at the jail. Our numbers will make the calls cheaper. We send you your new local number that is matched to the rate center of the detention facility in your order. It is with that number your inmate dials to connect to you. The savings you receive are different in every situation but if you want an estimate before signing up, give us the information above in an email and we will do our best to give you an honest assessment of the program and if it will help save you money.
