What kind of sentence does a domestic violence charge carry?

my husband filed a civil law suit & habeas corpus on the Judge, my husband was sentence to 90 days (12/24/15 to 9/23/2016) for violation of p.o. & direct contempt of court. please he has another court date on 3/17/2016 for simple domestic violence this is his 2nd simple domestic & he has a dv case with his ex wife in 2013. I'm not going to court on the dv case his court date is on 3/17/2016. I no that the courts ACCEPTED his civil suit. and is also a section worker so doesn't he get credits to be released early? or will he get 5 yrs in prison for the dv cases? I so confused please hep

We need more information to add anything that might help. Let us recap and you help us sense here: Your husband is serving time for violation by his probation officer and contempt of court? What are these dates representing 12/24/15 to 9/23/2016? He has a pending domestic violence charge from 2013 and you want to know what we think his sentence will be? We want to know his prior criminal history, the number of times he has been incarcerated and the extend of property or physical damage resulting from this charge. Also, filing a habeas corpus (*a writ requiring a person under arrest to be brought before a judge or into court, especially to secure the person's release unless lawful grounds are shown for their detention*.)on a judge is usually waste of time unless there is overwhelming documented evidence that the judge in question violated the offender's rights or showed obvious prejudice that the appellate court HAS to rule against one of their own.
