There are no online methods of money transfer available for the San Joaquin County Honor Farm. You may deposit money in the lobby kiosk at the facility or send a POSTAL money order through US Mail. Money orders must have the inmate's name, booking number and the return address of the sender.
Internet Payments (credit cards via http://www.jailatm.com/) Mail (money orders only - must have inmate name) addressed to Washoe County Jail, ATTN: Inmate Accounting

When I go to register on Western Union it says it is temporarily unavailable because they are undergoing changes. This has been the case now for at least over a week. Is there an alternative ?
If your inmate's facility allows for other competing services, we would recommend JPay.com, they are the largest and most reliable of all the inmate money transfer companies. If a money order is an option you could always go to nearby Western Union depot and mail it in.
Hi there, I am trying to send my Fiance money for his books, yet I'm not sure if I am supposed to select SECURUS from the options menu as to where I am sending my money, because of the fact that he is a Federal Inmate. I did select this option though, to see if it allowed me to, and it did, because when I tried to select FBP, it could not find him in the system. So, do I just continue with my SECURUS selection? Thank you in advance for any help.
To send money to a federal inmate, you have to use Western Union. You will need your inmate's name and 8 digit inmate ID number. When you get to the drop down selections, look for FBOP. State Code: DC City code: FBOP
My brother is incarcerated in Middle River Regional Jail in Staunton Va. He did not pay the daily charge imposed when he was there a year ago. If we send money for his commissary, he says the jail will use it toward paying this previous expense. Is this true? Also, how are letters sent from this "inmate aid" site delivered to him in jail? Do you type and mail it via US Mail? Or is it emailed to the jail where they print it and deliver it to him? Thanks for helping!
It is true that if there is any sort of balance from a previous charge or any fine or restitution they will deduct it from the commissary. If there is a stipulation as to a percentage, that might be good information to know. But if the amount is substantial, they might take all that you deposit. InmateAid's service is not email; it is with the US Postal Service. Inmates do not have Internet access. We estimate that it takes 2-3 business days to...Read more
You will need to go to the grocery or Wal-Mart to buy a prepaid card. They will work exactly the same as a credit card.
I live in the United Kingdom and my son is in a SC prison . I have tried to send him money through the site that was suggested but it wont except my English cards . Is there another way i can send him money ?
The online transfer services will not accept international cards. InmateAid offers a solution for international members but since it is not part of our core business, the service fee for doing so is a bit pricey. We charge $15 for the service but you also will have to pay the transfer fee for the service that the jail uses plus a credit card processing fee - the last two components are not fees for InmateAid but are necessary to get...Read more
