Visitation on Christmas is not usually different than other days except for the holiday spirit. The number of visitors is very heavy on Christmas and Thanksgiving so there might be time restrictions due to overcrowding. All federal prisons follow the same rules for phones. The phones are available from 6am - 3:30p and from 4:30p - 9:30p during the week. On weekends and holidays the phones are on from 6am - 9:30am; 10:30a - 3:30p and from 4:30p - 9:30p. The main reason is COUNT TIME. All inmate are counted at their bedside. The phones turn off so that the inmates have time to get to where they are supposed to be for COUNT TIME.
