why do family members falsely accuse others of crimes that cause that innocent person be incarcerated

well my question is, why do family members falsely accuse other family members of false crimes that they didn't committ placing that other family member in jail and then that family member being transported to prison after his jail term?

Why? Simple, they are scum bags that are just dragging others in to thier mess to reduce the sentence they are deserving. They are rats!! Other inmates do find out about snitches and take care of business for sure.
