Correctional Alternative Placement Services, Inc. (CAPS) has been operating since November 1982, delivering residential and non-residential community corrections services to adult felony offenders. Initially established through a contract with the Fourteenth Judicial District Community Corrections Board, CAPS has since expanded its services to accommodate adult males and females under contracts with the Colorado Department of Corrections, United States Probation Office, and County.

With a capacity to serve 45 adult males and females, CAPS operates with the goal of providing an alternative to incarceration within a highly structured environment.
