Located in Milton, FL, BRCF operates as a private contractor with various government agency agreements providing state-minimum custody requirements. Programs are offered to all custody levels, including work release residents focused on reentry success. With a strong emphasis on rehabilitation, BRCF provides comprehensive educational and vocational opportunities. Onsite amenities include dietary, health, fitness, educational, religious, and recreational services. The BRCF, owned by the private prison company the GEO Group and leased to the FDC, has a capacity for over 2,000 adult and youthful male inmates. The facility offers various academic programs including Pre-GED/GED and "ABE" Adult Basic Education. Additionally, vocational programs such as Barbering, Desktop publishing, Electrical - Residential, Environmental Services, and Technical Support Specialist are available to inmates.

In terms of chaplaincy services, the facility provides Chapel Library Programs, Special Events, Religious Education, and Worship Services. Substance abuse programs offered include Substance Abuse Prevention/Education and Substance Abuse Pre-Release initiatives. Institutional betterment programs focus on areas like Anger Management, Global Logistics, Law Library, Library services, Life Skills training, Thinking for Change, Transition programs, and the Vet Dog Program.

Directions - From I-10 near Milton take Exit 31 (FL-87 North) toward Milton/Navarre for approximately 1.2 miles to Caroline St (FL-10 E/US-90 E.) Turn right on Caroline St and go approximately 1.1 miles to Jeff Ates Rd. Turn left on Jeff Ates Rd. The facility will be on the right.
