Visiting hours for CRC are subject to change, so it's crucial to confirm them by contacting the facility directly by phone. Residents in treatment often have conflicting schedules as many have off-site employment and are not always available during visiting hours. All visitors seeking entry into the facility must undergo clearance procedures beforehand, and visits must be pre-approved. Visitation privileges are reserved exclusively for immediate family members or individuals involved in the resident's recovery process. Visitors are prohibited from dropping off items for residents during their visits. However, they may bring money for vending machines, emergency medications, and identification. Cell phones are strictly prohibited, but visitors with small children may bring essential items such as baby wipes, diapers, and baby food. Purses are not permitted within the facility.
Visitors are expected to adhere to appropriate dress codes and conduct themselves accordingly while on the premises. Prior to visitation, visitors are required to sign the visitation rules, confirming their awareness and agreement to abide by them. Any violations of personal conduct may result in the termination of the visit and suspension of visiting privileges. Importantly, visitors are strictly prohibited from bringing anything for a resident into the facility without prior written approval from the Facility Director.
Residents housed at the Adult Community Corrections (ACC) facility are encouraged to partake in family gatherings at community establishments in the Casper area, such as family restaurants or other approved sites, for private visitation away from the facility. Sunday night visitation is limited to those ineligible for visiting in the Casper community.
