The Atlanta Youth Development Campus (YDC) is a medium to low-security detention center located at 5651 Stonewall Tell Road College Park, GA that is operated locally by the Juvenile Justice Department and holds youths awaiting the determination of punishment for the crimes which they are accused. Most of the adolescents are here for less than two years.
All Youth Development Campuses (YDC) provide secure care, supervision and treatment services to youth who have been committed to the custody of DJJ for and long-term programs.
Each YDC follows departmental policy and procedures based on federal and state law and a variety of professional standards. Each facility provides youth services that include education, health and mental health services, food services, resident counseling, substance abuse units, vocational programming, and family visitation, among other services.
Juvenile facilities overseen by Fulton County do not publish the names of the offenders housed in their facility. As such, there is no public forum for this information.
