Satellite View of FCI Dublin Low and Satellite Camp-CLOSED

Following a sex abuse scandal involving the former warden and other officials, the federal women's prison in Dublin has closed. There are three women-only federal facilities, they are FCI-Aliceville, FCI-Tallahassee, and FCI-Waseca.

All inmates were relocated by May 1, 2024, and either transferred to other facilities, released, or placed in community programs. Efforts were made to keep them close to their expected release locations and ensure access to legal representation. Former warden Ray Garcia received nearly six years for abusing inmates, while ex-chaplain James Highhouse was sentenced to seven years for similar offenses.
