BSP is for State Prison offenders sentenced anywhere from one year to life by the State Court in the county where the charges were filed

Located at 4293 Route 47 in Leesburg, NJ, BSP carefully assigns inmates based on their custody level, considering factors like criminal history. BSP offers diverse educational and vocational programs aimed at equipping offenders for successful reintegration into society and reducing recidivism. BSP is situated on approximately 1,148 acres of rural South Jersey land, around 17 miles south of Vineland/Millville. Comprising three operational units, including a satellite unit at Ancora, BSP offers a comprehensive range of employment opportunities for inmates. Alongside educational and vocational training, the facility provides access to medical, dental, psychiatric, psychological, and social services, facilitating various rehabilitation programs.
Formerly known as Leesburg State Prison, BSP is located in Leesburg, NJ, within Cumberland County. The prison complex consists of three units: the Farm, the Medium facility, and Ancora. Inmates housed here have access to essential medical, psychiatric, and dental care, along with opportunities for vocational and educational classes. With a current population exceeding 2,210 adult males, BSP remains committed to providing comprehensive services to its incarcerated population.
