The York County NE Jail is a detention center located at 510 Lincoln Ave York, NE which is operated locally by the York County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. York County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, York Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.
New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. Inmates may buy telephone cards, which are sold at $20 per card and must be purchased through the jail/commissary.
Any item(s), including money dropped off for any inmate in York County Corrections must be dropped off at the window between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday or during visitation hours. (No items will be accepted after these hours. This does not include bond money, which will be collected 24 hours a day.)
All bond money collected has to be cash. (No checks or credit cards are accepted at the jail.) You can add money with a debit or credit card online by going to Tiger Deposit and following the instructions.

Once your visit is over, you need to sign out and leave. There will be NO LOITERING in the lobby after your visit.
