All inmates will be allowed two (2) visits per week. Each visit will allow for twenty (20) minutes per visit with no more than one (1) visit per day.

Items accepted for inmates over the counter include: money, clothing needed for court and prescription medication.

Visitors attempting to bring in contraband will be prosecuted.

Visitation Rules

General Public -

  • Must be at least seventeen (17) years of age with picture identification. Visitors unable to provide picture identification will be denied a visit.

  • Children under the age of seventeen (17) are not permitted in the lobby during visitation time.

  • No food or drink permitted.

  • No packages, tobacco products, cell phones or pagers are permitted.

  • Swearing or loud talking is not tolerated and can result in being removed from the visiting room or lobby.

  • No revealing attire, jewelry, gang insignia or offensive clothing will be allowed.

  • Criminal records checks will be conducted and must be clear of warrants or you will be denied a visit.

Clergy & Attorneys - Must produce valid identification to be admitted to the jail. Religious visits are limited to religions approved by the Michigan Department of Corrections. Jail officers will assign the visiting area. Visiting hours for clergy & attorneys are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and 6:30 p.m.. to 9:00 p.m. every day.
