Effective 9/12/2023 Visitation will be open
Tuesday: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Visitation sessions will start at 7:30 a.m., 8:45 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Visitation sessions will start at 10:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 4:45 p.m.
Thursday: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Visitation sessions will start at 7:30 a.m., 8:45 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1:30 p.m.

Specific Visiting Hours for Minor Incarcerated Persons
Tuesday: 2:45 p.m.
Wednesday: 5:45 p.m.
Thursday: 2:45 p.m.

Visitation can be reached at 315-765-2380 for availability and to receive instructions for visits.

Video visitation services will continue as normal and this temporary order will remain in effect until further notice. Should you need to establish a video visitation account, you may do so by accessing the website at Gettingout.com.

Visitation of Inmates at the Oneida County Jail:

The first section of this page describes routine visits with inmates, such as visits by family and friends. The visitation rules are different for professional and clergy visits. See "Other Visitation Rules" at the end of this section for additional information.

The Visitation area is located in the Correction Facility. The entrance to the visitation lobby is located directly below the "Public Safety Complex" sign.

Visitation Hours:

• Effective September 12, 2023, visitation hours will be held on Tuesday 7-3, Wednesday 10-6, and Thursday 7-3. Days, and hours may be changed without notice.
• Hours of operation will be posted in the lobby and updated as needed.
• Visitation will be closed on the 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day & New Year’s Day.
• Each inmate will be allowed two (1) hour blocks of visiting time each week. (Can be the same day when approved by a Supervisor.)
• Visits are on a first come first serve basis.
• Visitors should arrive at least 15 min. Before the scheduled visiting time.
• If visitors are late, no visit will be allowed, no exceptions.
• A 24 hour notice is required for all cancelled visits.
• Children ages 0 to 17 years, must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian at all times while in the visitation room and lobby area. Must have Birth Certificate/Passport, and if they are with Legal Guardian Custody Paperwork.
