Primarily serving as the holding facility for the local Police Department and agencies within the judicial district of Abbeville County, these locally operated police jails temporarily house inmates awaiting transfer to the Abbeville County Jail or other jurisdictions.

Following the transfer, offenders proceed to the county jail for arraignment and the reading of charges before a magistrate, where bail determinations are made. For more detailed inmate information, individuals can contact the booking department at 864-366-5832 or access the latest arrest records.
