The Auburndale Bridge Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Program (Female) located at 602 Melton Ave Auburndale, FL, focuses on successful offender reintegration into society, crucial for effective crime control. With high recidivism rates, evidence-based practices tailor programs for medium to high-risk individuals, reducing repeat offenses. Reentry and Treatment Centers offer structured environments and various programs aiding rehabilitation and community reconnection efforts. Collaborating with the Polk Sheriff's Department, the Florida Department of Corrections, and sometimes the US Marshal Service/Federal Bureau of Prisons, comprehensive reentry services prioritize education, substance abuse treatment, and workforce development. Facilities assist officers in monitoring compliance and serve as alternatives to pretrial detention, considering cost-effectiveness and reducing overcrowding. Emphasizing individual needs, family support, and community integration, the center aims for holistic support, empowering successful reintegration.
The Auburndale Bridge RSAT Program, led by Mary Pirant (interim), accommodates 80 female inmates from the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC). Grounded in Therapeutic Community Concepts, the program offers a peer-led, supportive environment to foster active participation in recovery.
Tailored for adult female felony drug offenders, the program operates in three phases. Phase I focuses on intensive substance abuse treatment, Phase II emphasizes employment, and Phase III centers on community re-entry.
A variety of programs and services are provided, including workshops, support groups, addiction education, anger management, Bible study, employment assistance, family development, health and fitness, job placement, and relapse prevention planning.
Collaborations with community partners such as Al-Anon Recovery, Alcoholics Anonymous, churches, nonprofits, healthcare providers, and employment agencies enhance support and resources, aiming to empower female inmates to overcome substance abuse and successfully reintegrate into society.
The Auburndale Bridge Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Program, overseen by Kenuated Clarke, provides accommodation for 80 female inmates from a Florida Department of Corrections prison. Built upon the principles of Therapeutic Community Concepts, the program offers a supportive, peer-led environment that encourages active participation in the recovery process.
Designed for adult female felony drug offenders sentenced by local courts, the program operates in three distinct phases. Phase I focuses on intensive substance abuse treatment, spanning 2 to 3 months and including accountability and therapeutic groups, addiction education, individual counseling sessions, and organized recreation. Phase II emphasizes employment, lasting 3 to 4 months, with a focus on employment education, therapeutic groups, and community-based employment opportunities. Finally, Phase III centers on community re-entry, lasting 1 to 2 months, focusing on recovery maintenance and successful reintegration into the community.
A wide range of programs and value-added services are offered to support clients throughout their recovery journey. These include workshops, support group meetings, addiction education, anger management, Bible study, employment assistance, family development and reunification, health and fitness programs, job placement assistance, and relapse prevention planning, among others.
The Auburndale Bridge program also collaborates with numerous community partners to provide additional support and resources.
