Operated under the New Mexico Corrections Department - Probation & Parole Division, the New Mexico Men's Recovery Academy (NMMRA) serves as a residential reentry treatment center, catering to male individuals with a capacity to accommodate 174 residents. Originally established as the Fort Stanton Residential Treatment Center in July 2003, the program relocated to Los Lunas, NM, in July 2009, where it was rebranded as the New Mexico Men's Recovery Academy.
NMMRA offers a comprehensive range of residential reentry treatment services aimed at reducing recidivism rates among its participants. These services include individual assessments, individual and group counseling, substance abuse treatment, parenting and anger management classes, and educational services.
