Visitation Hours

Hardeman Co Jail - Visitation

Times and days are subject to change without notice

  • Monday 8:30 am - 4 pm
  • Thursday 9 am - 4 pm
  • Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Saturday 10 am - 3:30 pm
  • Sunday 10 am - 3:30 pm

General Visitation Information

Visitation will be via video visitation, no contact visitation will occur. All video visits are subject to monitoring and recording. It is the inmates’ responsibility to inform the visitors of the visitation rules and procedures.

Visiting hours - Monday, Wednesday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Visitation will cease between the hours of 10:45 am to 11:30 am count time) and 2:45 pm to 3:30 pm (count time). Visitation will resume when the count has cleared. No visitors will be accepted after 3:30 pm. There will be no visitation on Tuesdays.

  • Visits will be for a maximum of one (1) hour.
  • Inmates will be allowed to receive one (1) visit per week.
  • Inmates with last names beginning with A through L will be allowed to receive visits on Monday and Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
  • Inmates with last names beginning with M through Z will be allowed to receive visits on Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Visits are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Space is limited and visits will occur as visitors arrive and check in.

Each inmate will complete a visiting form and turn it in to the jail administrator before a visit will be allowed.

Visitors will be limited to four (4) per visit including children. One (1) visitor must be an adult (18yrs or older). Two (2) may visit at a time, a child must be accompanied by an adult during the visit. The child’s name must be listed on the visitation form.

There will be no visits allowed with anyone who has been involved in a case of domestic abuse or assault with a visitor. Persons being held for domestic assault or abuse charge, or sexual offense will at no time be allowed to visit with their victim for any reason.

Visitors must be properly dressed. Any visitor can be denied if staff feels they are not in compliance with visitor dress rules.

Visitors and inmates will conduct themselves properly when using the video visitation system. No foul language, sexual gestures or any inappropriate behavior will be tolerated. Violation of this rule will result in immediate termination of the visit and all future visits will be suspended.

Anyone who violates a visitation rule will have their visits suspended either for some time or indefinitely.
