Are inmates allowed shots like tetanus or other vaccines at the prisons?
My son is an inmate at the Roger State Prison and he was bitten by a mouse which had gotten in the prison at some point. He went to medical to get a shot just in case the mouse had a disease. the tetanus shot is usually given. They being the nurse or if seen by a doctor one would receive a shot. Are they not allowed shots of that sort at the prisons? Thank you

Tetanus shots and tuberculosis (TB) vaccines are regular inoculations that occur in prison and jail.

Tetanus shots and tuberculosis (TB) vaccines are regular inoculations that occur in prison and jail. If there was a mouse/rat bite, we are pretty sure the medical staff and any/every facility would make sure the inmate's tenanus shots were recent.
