The Bartow County Jail is a medium-security detention center located at 104 Zena Dr Cartersville, GA which is operated locally by the Bartow County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Bartow County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, municipalities, the US Marshal's Service and the Cartersville Police Department who do not have their own long-term lock-up.
The mission of the Bartow County Jail Division is to operate the jail in accordance with all State and Federal laws providing a safe and healthful environment for inmates and staff; providing the inmates with the necessary medical and mental health services, religious services and other educational and drug resistance programs to aid their quality of life. The Jail Division must ensure the protection of the county's citizens by preventing escapes and the introduction of contraband into this facility. This Jail serves not only the Sheriff's Office but all other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. The building is approximately 176 thousand square feet.
All inmates at the Bartow County Detention Center are set up with an inmate cash account when coming into the Detention Center. Money confiscated from the inmate during the booking process and money deposited by family or friends is deposited into the inmate’s account. This account is used by the inmate to purchase commissary items, be a means to post bail, connect to friends and family via email or phone calls. Inmate accounts are not used to pay household bills or meet family expenses.

Bartow County Jail publishes the names of their inmates currently in their facility in Georgia. Your search should start with this locator first to see if your loved one is there.
The second box is the InmateAid Inmate Search. This database of inmates is user-generated content for the purpose of accessing and utilizing any or all of the InmateAid services. If you need our assistance creating your own inmate profile to keep in touch, email us at aid@inmateaid.com and we will assist you in locating your inmate.
As a last resort, you might have to pay for that information if we do not have it. The Arrest Record Search will cost you a small amount, but their data is the freshest available and for that reason they charge to access it.
