Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Hillsborough County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Tampa Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

Video Visitation will no longer allow PHONES, BACKPACKS, DIAPER BAGS, STROLLERS, HANDBAGS, PURSES or any other containers into Video Visitation. You will be required to leave it in your car, or home if you utilize the bus. If you try to enter with these things, your visit will be canceled and you will be required to leave. Video conferencing with a third party on a tablet or cellphone, and taking cellphone photographs or videos of inmates during an online visit is strictly forbidden.
