The Hollywood Transition Work Release Center - Women facilitates many collaborative activities to provide offender opportunities for a successful transition from incarceration to the community. Located at 8501 W. Cypress Drive in Hollywood, FL the reentry services staff firmly believe that successful reentry is a part of effective crime control and the inclusion of justice-involved individuals back into our communities. The foundation for successful reentry begins during incarceration and includes a heavy emphasis on personal development, employment, education, treatment services, family support, and community engagement.

No recidivism is the goal of the Florida Department of Corrections and the Federal Bureau of Prisons and their respective reentry services units. This facility strives to ensure information and services are available to address the full range of individual reentry and program needs presented. Core program areas of Education, Substance Abuse Treatment and Workforce Development are supplemented with a variety of other reentry oriented programs and services. The spirit of the unit's reentry work is to provide comprehensive services and support to returning citizens as individuals, as members of their families, and as members of our community.

No cellphones, you will be searched before visiting. NO personal belongings. Persons under probation, parole, or other community corrections supervision must obtain the permission of both their individual supervising officer and the superintendent prior to a visit. Such visitation is not normally approved.

If the visitor is under the age of 18 and is a family member of the inmate, they must be accompanied by an adult family member or guardian to include a member of the inmate's extended family. If the visitor is under the age of 18 and is not a family member of the inmate, the minor visitor must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
