Sumter Youth Development Campus (YDC) is for State Juvenile offenders have not been sentenced yet and are detained here until their case is heard.

Program Description:
Specialized programming includes a cognitive restructure program with a point-level system, group therapy, transitional services, mental health and medical services.

The campus also provides education, individual guidance and counseling, medical services, vocational services, and recreation. Vocational programming includes industrial trades, culinary arts, computer technology, and horticulture.
