The United States Penitentiary, Lee (USP Lee), located in Virginia, is a high-security federal prison for male inmates. They are housed in one or two-man cells under restricted movement. The facility also includes a satellite prison camp for minimum-security male offenders, who are housed in barracks-like dormitories.

USP Lee is situated in the Lee County Industrial Park, near Pennington Gap, Virginia, in the southwest part of the state. Completed in August 2001, it began receiving inmates in 2002. The prison site has historical significance, with Native American artifacts dating back as far as 10,000 years discovered on the grounds. Notable incidents at USP Lee include a prisoner's escape in 2008 and instances of violence, including homicides.

Health services at USP Lee include initial screenings, routine care, dental care, medications, vaccinations, and specialty care. Inmates can request medical attention through sick calls, and emergency medical care is available 24 hours a day. Mental health services offer screening, assessment, treatment, counseling, and support groups for inmates with mental health issues. Additional programs target anger management, stress management, and substance abuse.

Educational opportunities at USP Lee include GED instruction, ESL programs, parenting classes, and post-secondary programs through correspondence. Advanced occupational education is offered in Basic Home Construction, Residential HVAC, and Horticulture/Gardening. The prison provides access to the TRULINCS Electronic Law Library and a leisure library offering fiction, nonfiction, newspapers, and magazines for inmate use.

USP Lee houses a UNICOR facility producing clothing and textiles, aiming to equip inmates with job skills for reentry into society.
