Can I use profanity in letters I'm writing to an inmate?

This may be a stupid question, but can I use profanity in letters I'm writing to an inmate? I swear a lot.

Yes, that is no problem :)) We would refrain from speaking about the crime he was convicted of or what you think about law enforcement.
