How to access post-release help programs

My boyfriend gets out in April , I want to get him affiliated with some of these post InmateAid programs to help him get on his feet quicker. How do we get information about those?

It is great that you are planning ahead for his release.

It is great that you are planning ahead for his release. Getting support lined up before he gets out can make a big difference in how smoothly the transition goes.

InmateAid offers a range of reentry resources, but not all programs are fully listed or available directly on the site yet. The best way to get accurate and up-to-date information is to reach out directly to the InmateAid team. You can contact them at aid@inmateaid.com and let them know your boyfriend’s release timeframe and the type of help he may need.

They can guide you toward available resources such as:

  • Reentry planning and guidance
  • Communication tools to stay connected during the transition
  • Access to services that support housing, employment, and daily needs

Reaching out early, before his release in April, gives you both time to understand what is available and put a plan in place. That preparation can help him get on his feet faster and avoid common setbacks right after release.
