LOL, no way!! Are you kidding? There is a story every week about a CO going to prison for sex with an inmate. That is the lowest of the low. The CO has an inmate in a very compromising position, and they of power. To abuse that there isn't a sentence long enough for that kind of predator. The inmates LOVE an incarcerated former CO :)

Every new arrival at a federal facility must complete an orientation period before any privileges are granted. This includes phone access, visitation, and in some cases, commissary. The orientation process at most BOP facilities, including Texarkana, typically takes about a week, sometimes a few days less and occasionally a bit longer, depending on intake volume and scheduling. During that window, your person is getting processed, classified, briefed on facility rules, and assigned to their housing unit and work detail.

Once your letter shows as sent in your InmateAid account, plan on about 2 to 3 business days for it to travel through the postal system and reach the facility in Texarkana. That timeline covers the transit from InmateAid's mailing facility to the jail or prison, but it does not account for what happens inside the mailroom after it arrives. Every piece of incoming mail at a correctional facility goes through a review process before it reaches the inmate.
