Your inmate should know their release date as should his counselor or case manager. If it is not posted online you should call the facility and ask the staff

Usually the correspondence materials must come from the facility. We are not 100% on how Deuel does it, but most places require the inmate to get these items from the commissary and if indigent they will be provided to them at no charge.

The restrictions on the type of photos that will be allowed inside the facility are ones where there are no private parts exposed (bikini, lingerie are permissible), no drugs or alcohol in the picture, no gang depictions and they are also sensitive to pictures of young children. If you can keep it somewhat wholesome, they will all get through - sending sexy pictures are fine as long as it's covering enough of you.

it takes anywhere from a day to a week. it depends on where it is and how the staff treats incoming mail (inspection time, etc).

Mail yes, visits probably not but depending on the severity of the illness or injury there might be exceptions made. Contact the counselor or chaplain for details of what might be allowed.
