Yes, but you might have to go through a short approval process beforehand, however, they will not deny a spouse visitation regardless of the felony status.

Yes, probably. He will have to get the Probation Office in the county he wishes to transfer to in Virginia to coordinate the transfer of supervision over to them. It is a very common thing, however, the offender must have a suitable home to live in, a job and the ability to pay back any fees related to the supervision. Not to mention, his conduct record, while incarcerated, will have a large bearing on whether they will consider this.

No, unfortunately, the county jails do not allow marriages. There is only a short list of prisons that do, and the inmate has to have a long sentence. Inmates are in county jail no longer than 24 months.

The magazine subscription takes 8 weeks at least to get the first issue rolling. Our policy is that you can change the address as many times as necessary. We know inmates get moved all the time and this concession seems to work well for all parties.
