Ask a former inmate questions at no charge. The inmate answering has spent considerable time in the federal prison system, state and county jails, and in a prison that was run by the private prison entity CCA.

Not usually. However 95% of inmates are allowed to receive mail from anyone and anywhere. Please keep in mind that the staff opens and reads each piece of mail before deciding whether to hand it out or return it. There is definitely a censorship element to the mail, but usually the sender is of no consequence unless something arises in the content of the letter.

Our members create their own inmate profile and use whichever service meets their needs. We do not monitor, verify or update the profiles unless requested to do so. We are always happy to help when asked. The inmate profiles may be removed by the member that created them.
