what does magistrate release mean?

My husband was just currently arrested yesterday morning. His status now says Disposition: Magistrated - Released CMAG Release Date/Time: June 24,2015 at 320 What does this mean exactly? Is he being released? Or transferred to a detention center? I've been searching for answers everywhere?

This normally means that he was "Released to Central Magistrate"; the magistrate is a presiding judge overseeing arraignment and bond. We think this means he was released on his personal recognizance.
