Inspirational Prison Stories

Inmates are not heros, but some have learned their lesson well enough to become an inspiriation to others.

The theme is simple, whatever sentence that you have to deal with, make the most of this time to improve yourself for your release.  To illustrate the struggle, there are some sayings in prison that inmates repeat, especially to new inmates and inmates that are not dealing well with their incarceration:

"Prison either makes you or breaks you"

or

"Do your time; don't let your time do you".

There are more than a few inspirational stories that have emerged from prison.  People who rise above the norm and do incredible things to prepare for the challenges that await them when they are released.  Browse this section and read some of these selections.  If you are getting ready to go in, with the right frame of mind, you can become an inspiration, too.
