BROOKSVILLE --There was a peeing match between two inmates at the Hernando County Detention Center last week and it wasn't metaphorical.

Estelle Julia Vitiello, 22, was charged Friday with one count of felony battery involving urine against fellow inmate Andria Jacobs on Dec. 10, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

Vitiello told detectives she is a trustee who left the detention center early that morning to work at the Hernando County Courthouse.

Vitiello said when she returned to the Detention Center she opened her personal property box to find that Jacobs had urinated in her property box and ruined all of her personal property.

Jacobs admitted during her initial interview that she had dumped water on Vitiello's property.

In retaliation Vitiello told detectives she retrieved the urine from her personal property box in a plastic coffee cup then poured the urine into a shampoo bottle and then dumped the urine on Jacobs.

The detective met with Jacobs on Dec. 11, who said she was on her back lying on her bunk bed reading a book when Vitiello approached her cell and dumped urine on her head.

The detective then viewed the video surveillance tape and observed Jacobs lying on her bunk bed at the time of the incident.

Vitiello then approached her and reached through the cell bars and dumped a liquid about her head, the report said.

Both Vitiello and Jacobs were arrested on probation violations, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.
