Located at 1 Industries Dr in Norfolk, MA, PCC carefully assigns inmates based on their custody level, considering factors like criminal history. PCC offers diverse educational and vocational programs aimed at equipping offenders for successful reintegration into society and reducing recidivism. PCC is a facility dedicated to the rehabilitation and reintegration of criminally sentenced males, housing approximately 205 inmates, with about 50 in pre-release status. Emphasizing participation in work assignments and educational programs, PCC aims to equip inmates with the skills necessary for successful reentry into society.
The facility operates a work-release program allowing eligible inmates within 18 months of parole or release to work in the community during the day and return to the institution afterward. This initiative helps inmates adjust to employment routines and earn funds for their post-release life. In addition to work opportunities, inmates can pursue education, including GED and adult basic education courses, to enhance their employability.
Security at PCC is maintained through strict accountability procedures and regular supervision, despite the absence of walls or fences. PCC maintains a database of current inmates and their locations within the system. To locate an inmate, begin by using the DOC locator tool, which requires entering the first three letters of the inmate's first and last name, allowing for variations in spelling.
If unable to locate the desired information through free resources, users may opt to use the Arrest Record Search, which requires payment. While this option incurs a small fee, it provides access to the most up-to-date data available.
