The Tucker Unit, located in Jefferson County and operated by the Arkansas DOC, is a state prison accommodating 612 adult male inmates ranging from minimum to medium custody levels. Inmates at this facility have access to a diverse array of programs aimed at rehabilitation and skill-building.
Education programs at the Tucker Unit enable inmates to earn their GED and acquire basic adult education. Additionally, inmates undergo substance abuse treatment programs to address various addiction issues.
