Located at 2105 N Citrus Rd in Goodyear, AZ, ADCRR Perryville-Lumley carefully assigns inmates based on their custody level, considering factors like criminal history. The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR)-Perryville-Lumley is a modern, maximum-security state prison facility among the 8 state-Perryville-operated penitentiaries. Female inmates on Death Row are housed here. All executions are performed in the CACC-Florence. The Perryville complex, with a maximum population capacity of 4,401 inmates, exclusively houses female offenders. Within the complex, there are four open units: Lumley, Santa Cruz, San Carlos, and Santa Rosa/Piestewa. These units cater to inmates across a spectrum of custody levels, ranging from minimum to close custody offenders.

The Perryville complex is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and rehabilitation services to its female population. This includes educational programs aimed at improving literacy and acquiring high school diplomas or GEDs. Substance abuse programs are also available to assist inmates in overcoming addiction issues. Additionally, mental health programs are offered to address the psychological needs of incarcerated individuals.

Transition programs are implemented to prepare inmates for successful reintegration into society upon their release. These programs may include job training, life skills development, and assistance with securing employment and housing. Religious services are provided to accommodate the spiritual needs of inmates, while family reunification events help foster connections with loved ones outside of the prison walls.
