The Beaver County Correctional Facility (BCCF) is a detention center located at 2270 South 525 West Beaver, UT which is operated locally by the Beaver County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Beaver County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Beaver Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. The purpose of the Beaver County Correctional Facility (BCCF) is to provide a secure, humane and fair environment and to create a positive opportunity for inmate behavioral change and reintegration into society.

The accomplishment of these goals and other mandated court requirements shall be facilitated through cost effective programming. Furthermore, qualified staff will create a positive atmosphere where participating inmates may advance to an environment, which is less restrictive.

It will be the responsibility of the BCCF and the department employees to provide services to include, but not limited to, any and all constitutional requirements verified by state statute or court of law. Confined in the county jail are convicted inmates serving time for crimes for which they have been convicted and other pre-sentenced prisoners who did not qualify for pre-trial release and are awaiting trial.

All inmates will be treated in a courteous manner without regard to personal prejudice to sex, race, religion or political affiliation.

  • Holidays - call for available times and reserve yours as these days are the busiest times of the year

Visitors must follow the dress code and behavior guidelines whether they are visiting here or from their computer/smartphone. Violations may result in the termination of the visit.

Online Video Visitation
Online visits can be scheduled in advance, allowing remote connection from home or work. Visitors must set up an account and adhere to dress and behavior guidelines. Visits cost a minimum of $0.25 per minute and are monitored for security.
