The Burnet Co Jail is a detention center located at 900 County Ln Burnet, TX which is operated locally by the Burnet County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Inmates must not be in precautionary isolation and cleared by medical staff before being approved for onsite visits. Please arrive 1/2 hour early and present your valid government-issued ID, preferably your driver's license. We will stop collecting IDs 15 minutes before the scheduled visitation time.

Adhere to the dress code. Anyone who arrives late or does not have a picture ID will not be allowed to visit. Only 2 visitors are allowed to visit per visitation time, including children. Only one visit per inmate per week will be allowed. No visitors will be allowed to visit who have been incarcerated in the Burnet County Jail within the last 6 months. NO EXCEPTIONS. Inmates will have to wait 6 months from their release date to be able to be put on a visitation list.
