Colville Adult Detention Center is a medium security facility located at 1400 School Loop Road in Nespelem, WA. Medium custody inmates live in either one or two-man units within specific pods. Medium security prisons are the standard facilities used to house most criminals. They feature cage-style housing, armed guards, and a much more regimented daily routine than a minimum or low-security prisons. These are more serious offenders which must be supervised 24/7 with controlled movements. The prison yard has strengthened perimeter fence, rows of triple razor wire on double fencing and electronic detection systems to ensure inmates stay within the confined areas within the facility.
