Visitation Information

Humphreys County Jail - Visitation

The Facility has established a visiting process that is conducted in as accommodating a manner as possible, subject to the need to maintain order, the safety of all persons, the security of the facility, and for required inmate activities and custody operations.

All on-site Public Visits must be scheduled and are by Appointment Only. Every visitor is required to pre-register and provide a current photo ID at check-in.

A digital photo will be taken of all Professional and Public adult visitors upon check-in for identification purposes only.

Cell phones are not permitted inside visiting centers.

Public visitors must arrive and check-in with visiting staff at least 30 minutes before the actual start time of your scheduled visit.

If a visitor is late and cannot be checked-in by staff, the scheduled visit will be subject to cancellation. Same-day visits can be scheduled two (2) hours in advance.

Professionals and Public visitors for inmates located in the Correctional Treatment Center or newly booked at our Sheriff Office are allowed to visit without an appointment. Please confirm with the Sheriff Office for availability before arriving.
