IDOC runs five CRCs statewide, with a sixth in Pocatello expected to open in Fall 2026.
Idaho's CRC system is exclusively for minimum custody inmates within 18 months of release. IDOC broke ground on a new Community Reentry Center in Pocatello under a 2022 Idaho Legislature appropriation and Governor Little's public safety initiative. When complete in Fall 2026, the Pocatello CRC will add 100 male minimum custody beds - addressing the lack of a CRC serving southeastern Idaho.
