The Shelby County TX Jail is a detention center located at 100 Hurst St Center, TX which is operated locally by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Shelby County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Center Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.
New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. To purchase commissary items online for an inmate, visit www.shelbypackages.com. You will need to create an account if you are not a registered user.
To begin shopping, select a state then a program. From there, you will need to enter the inmate last name. Click on the inmate number to begin shopping. Select items for purchase under the categories tab; add the requested items for purchase into your shopping and follow checkout instructions. The items will ship directly to the inmate.
