The Travis Co Correctional is a detention center located at 3614 Bill Price Rd Del Valle, TX which is operated locally by the Travis County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Travis County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Del Valle Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. Those who are not released await their court appearances at the jail, receiving accommodations including bedding and meals. You can see all the arrest records for Texas here.

The Travis County Correctional Complex was first opened in 1977 and is a campus-style correctional facility, encompassing approximately 130 acres. The complex consists of twelve inmate-housing facilities: 1, 2, 3, 5 – 9, 11, 12, CCB and Health Services. The majority are Direct Supervision which allows staff to actively manage inmate behavior to produce a safe and secure environment.

The complex has numerous support buildings to include a warehouse, healthcare facility, kitchen (which is supported, in part, by an on-site, working garden), inmate property, maintenance and marketable skills. There is also an on-site, non-denominational church which offers services to inmates seven days a week.
