The WCCCC is overseen by the Colorado Department of Corrections and consists of six community-based programs that supervise both pre-sentenced and sentenced offenders, prioritizing public safety and cost-effective alternatives to incarceration. Working in collaboration with the Department's Work Release Center, located at 1101 H St Greeley, CO, and other criminal justice agencies, the division oversees thousands of offenders in the community.

Community Corrections is a vital program mandated by Colorado state statutes and overseen by the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice, Office of Community Corrections. This program offers sentencing and placement options for adult felony offenders, providing a range of services aimed at rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

Intervention Community Corrections (ICCS) serves various categories of offenders, including those convicted of less severe offenses diverted from prison, individuals transitioning between prison and parole, parolees released by the Colorado State Board of Parole, and those needing short-term stabilization services while on Probation and Parole. Specialized treatment services are also available for offenders with substance use and/or mental health issues.

ICCS, located in Weld County, operates as a private, non-profit agency, offering residential and non-residential supervision, job placement assistance, vocational counseling, educational support, substance abuse counseling, family and domestic violence treatment, anger management, mental health services, financial management, and life skills training. Utilizing qualified community treatment agencies, ICCS tailors individual service plans for each offender, maximizing access to appropriate community resources.

Case managers at ICCS work closely with offenders to develop customized plans that address their specific needs and promote successful rehabilitation. The program emphasizes high levels of surveillance and treatment, closely monitoring offenders' behavior and movement within the facility and community to ensure compliance and progress towards reintegration. Through comprehensive services and dedicated support, ICCS strives to facilitate positive outcomes for offenders and promote public safety.
